Their beautiful white-sand beaches and blue waters, and green hills and mountains made them the favorite vacation destinations in the Caribbean. Many vacationers come and visit the islands each year, especially during the peak season which is from November to May.
There are only two ways to get to the Virgin Islands, by air or by sea. A large number of virgin island cruises visits the US Virgin Islands at St. Thomas and St. Croix.

Most Virgin Island cruises stop at St. Thomas and St. Croix because of their big anchorages. And since there are no airports on St. John, tourists has to take ferries either from St. Thomas or St. Croix.
